Egyptian Antiquities Museum (El Mathas El Massry) Information
The 107 rooms of the Egyptian Antiquities Museum in Cairo in the year 1900 by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon and opened in 1902. The collection dates from the year 1835, however, if the Service des Antiques de l'Egypte (Egyptian Antiquities Service) was to protect state artifacts and a cessation of Raiding of archaeological sites.
